NexStep collects the information a member provides directly: account details, profile information, the city and state they choose, and the walking activity they record or connect.

Members control the visibility of their profile. Activity data is private by default and only contributes to community totals in aggregate.

Health and activity integrations are not connected yet. When they are, connecting a device or health source will always be an explicit member choice.
